FANI Aftermath: Odisha CM Sanctions Rs 7 Cr From CMRF Towards House Building Assistance

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today sanctioned Rs 7 crore and 58,000 from Chief Minister Relief Fund as financial assistance for families in Puri district whose houses were damaged in the extremely severe cyclonic storm FANI.

This assistance is meant for those families which are not eligible beneficiaries under the State Disaster Relief Fund. Total 8,000 families have been identified to receive help under this head.

Out of these, 7,400 families will get Rs 10,000 for fully damaged houses, while 600 families will get Rs 3,000 for partially damaged houses.
