FANI Aftermath: New India Assurance Company Donates Rs 3 Cr To Odisha CMRF

Bhubaneswar: In the aftermath of severe cyclonic storm FANI, that has hit hard Odisha and the State Government is continuing with its concerted efforts of ‘Rebuild Odisha’, donations to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) are being on every passing day by the generous agencies and persons.

Accordingly, New India Assurance Co. Ltd today donated Rs 3 crore.

As per a press note released by the Odisha Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), New India Assurance Company’s Managing Director (MD) handed over the amount in shape of cheque to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the Lok Seva Bhawan (State Secretariat) here today.

Similarly, All India Union Bank Officers Federation donated Rs 3,60,00, Indane Gas Distributirs of India Rs 2,55,552, the employees of Biju Patnaik International Airport donated Rs 2,37,186 and the Indians of Ghana donated Rs 56,500 to CMRF for the noble purpose.

In total, the donation received today is Rs 3,99,238 crore, the CMO press note stated.

The Chief Minister thanked them all for their generosity and standing behind the people of Odisha at their perilous hours.
