Fake Currency Note Factory Busted In Odisha's Gajapati

Paralakhemundi: A fake money minting factory, running from a rented house at Sridharnagar in Paralakhemundi, was busted by police on Monday and two persons were arrested in this connection.

Acting on a tip off, a team of Paralakhemundi Police led by SDPO TP Patra had conducted a raid on the said house and seized counterfeit currency amounting to Rs 2.5 lakh, forged money making material, cutting paper and bucket.

The arrested accused were identified as Karunakar Parida (39) of Mahadeipur village in Gajapati district of Odisha and Santosh Majhi (40) of Basundara village in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, the two details are interrogated to find out further details to nab other members of the gang.
