Balasore: With almost everything going online in today’s digital world; so has the search for love. The love story ended in a forced marriage for a young couple in Soro after they were caught red-handed.

Surendra Behera’s daughter; of Gulunia village of Manipur panchayat under Soro Police limits, was in love with Kubabupatna village’s Judhistir Behera’s son Baikuntha. They had virtually met on Facebook and had been chatting with each other after exchanging their phone numbers.

As per reports, Baikuntha had come to meet the girl on Thursday morning after coming to know that she would be alone at home. Some villagers spotted Baikuntha sneaking into Surendra Behera’s house. They caught the couple red-handed and informed the girl’s mother.

In presence of villagers, the couple were coerced into a marriage union on late Thursday night as per the Vedic rituals. They will be married in Court very soon, sources confirmed.
