Exit Poll 2019: Naveen Magic Set To Sweep Odisha Again

19 May 2019

Bhubaneswar: If exit polls are anything to go by, Naveen Patnaik-led Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is all set to clinch victory for the fifth consecutive time in Odisha. Leading regional daily Sambad Group’s exit poll suggests that the BJD would win 85 to 95 out of 146 assembly seats which went to polls this election.

As per ‘Sambad-Kanak’ exit poll, the BJP would win 25 to 34 seats and the Congress would taste victory in 12-15 seats in the Assembly elections. As per the survey, 1 to 3 seats are likely to go into the Others category.

The probability of BJD crossing the 100-mark in 146 seats (barring Patkura seat), are high, as the same survey reveals that there would be a tough contest between BJD and BJP in at least 10 seats, the exit polls data revealed.
