Bhubaneswar: “People across Odisha have now started believing that the Election Commission is delaying Bijepur Bypoll due to pressure from Centre,” said Odisha Labour Minister Sushant Singh while talking to the media persons on Sunday.

The minister also alleged that the saffron party thinks that their chances of winning the election will improve if they get some more time.

On the other hand, BJP has refuted the allegations. Defending the Centre, party spokesperson Sajjan Sharma said, “Sushant Shing’s allegations are vague. Had the Election Comission not been independent and impartial, he couldn’t have become minister himself.”
