Elderly Man Trampled To Death By Jumbo In Odisha's Sundergarh

Sundergarh: In an unfortunate incident, an elderly man was trampled to death by a jumbo near Patrapali village under Gopalpur Forest Range here today morning.

The deceased have been identified as Murali Sa. Reportedly, Murali had gone to the forest to collect Mahula when the elephant attacked him.

While he died on the spot, police and forest officials reached the village and sent it for post-mortem. In the meantime, villagers have demanded compensation for kin of deceased.
