Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has decided to take action against the educational institutions and commercial establishments in twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack which are not adopting any measures to check illegal parking in front of their premises.

Briefing mediapersons on Friday, Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi said that the educational institutions and commercial establishments should engage some staff at their own cost to control the traffic in front of their premises and enforce the no parking rules.

If any of them fail to adopt such measures, the Commissionerate Police will not only take action against the traffic violators but also against such educational and commercial bodies. Notices in this regard have been issued to the institutions and establishments, added Sarangi.
