Bhubaneswar: Ace Odia sprinter Dutee Chand was one among the illustrious panel of judges for the Femina Miss India World 2019 beauty pageant that took place in a star-studded ceremony at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday.
“I feel proud to have been invited as the first female Odia judge in FBB Colors Femina Miss India 2019. I thank the entire team for giving me this opportunity,” Dutee wrote on her social media profile.
The prestigious event was adjudged by Bollywood choreographer Remo D'Souza alongside actress Huma Qureshi, Chitrangada Singh, fashion designer Falguni Shane Peacock and Indian footballer Sunil Chhetri among others.
During the event, film stars like Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal and Mouni Roy enthralled the audience with their dance performances. The event was hosted by the Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Manish Paul.
20-year-old college student Suman Rao from Rajasthan won the Miss India title and will represent India at Miss World 2019 in Thailand.
