Bhubaneswar: Former Congress MLA Naba Kishore Das and hundreds of his supporters joining the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) have baffled Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, said BJD spokesperson and Health and Family Welfare Minister Pratap Jena.

Briefing mediapersons today, Jena said, “Thousands of people from other parties including Naba Das joining BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Jharsuguda, has left Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan baffled.”

The reaction of Jena came after Pradhan termed the joining programme as an alliance of corrupt people who have come together to fulfill their vested interests.

Jena further questioned Pradhan whom is he pointing fingers at and sought clarification on his criminal links in Cuttack city.

“The person who is involved in many crimes and presently serving jail term had been once termed by Pradhan as 'Baimundi', the Protector of Cuttack. Therefore such comment does not suit from a person who has been endorsing criminals,” added Jena.
