Protest To Cheat In Exam !

Deogarh: Papers and admit cards of around 68 students, appearing Plus II examination at Deogarh College, were seized by District Collector and SP on charges of indiscipline and malpractice on Tuesday.

Reportedly, around 127 science stream students were appearing for the Physics examination in the college when a few of them demanded that the CCTV installed in the examination hall be removed to facilitate cheating.

When the invigilators refused to oblige, 44 boy and 24 girl students walked out of the examination hall with question papers and answer sheets and appeared the examination on the corridor.

As a result the college principal Santoshini Satpathy apprised the higher authorities, including Collector Sudhansu Mohan Samal, SP Rahul Jain and CHSE Controller of Examinations Bijay Kumar Sahoo, about the situation.

Following it, the Collector and SP reached the spot and seized the question papers, answer sheets and admit cards of the undisciplined candidates. Action will be taken against them as per instruction of CHSE.
