Cyclone Fani: Holidays Of Odisha Government Employees Cancelled In 4 Districts

Bhubaneswar: In view of the possibility of severe cyclonic storm 'Fani' touching Odisha, Collectors of four coastal districts have cancelled the holidays of all government employees.

Collectors of Puri, Kendrapara, Ganjam and Khurda have instructed all government employees to let go off their holidays and remain alert for the possible landfall.

Earlier today, Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi while chairing a meeting of Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA) had said about receiving information that Cyclone Fani may have its landfall near Gopalpur.
