Cyclone FANI Aftermath: Odisha Govt Allows Citizens To Take Uprooted Trees For Personal Use

Bhubaneswar: Since several hundreds of trees have been uprooted in the aftermath of Cyclone FANI, clearing the roads will take a lot of time and manpower. In view of this, State Government has decided that people can cut the uprooted trees and take them for personal use.

As per information shared by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), State government has decided to allow citizens to take the uprooted trees or cut-off branches for their personal use. The press release also adds that citizens should be careful and take precautionary measures while cutting the trees.

Similarly, appropriate steps should be taken to save the bent trees. All this will help in expediting the restoration process, the release added.
