Bhubaneswar: In the wake of massive devastation in Odisha, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) has been postponed in the State. As per the latest announcement of the Union Health Ministry, the NEET examination in Odisha will be conducted on May 20.
The test will be held from 10 am to 1 pm on the aforesaid date. The centres of examination for candidates will remain unchanged. The revised admit cards are being issued shortly, the NEET authorities informed.
The Odisha Government had requested to the Centre for postponing NEET in view of cyclone disaster.
The exam, initially scheduled for May 5, was postponed in the state by the Union Health Ministry after cyclonic storm FANI caused massive destruction of property and partial shutdown of power and telecom services in the state.
