Cyclone FANI Aftermath: More Trains Cancelled Till May 7, Special Train To Bangalore Announced

Bhubaneswar: Keeping in mind the safety and security of train passengers, Railways has cancelled more trains due to Cyclone FANI. These are 56 more trains- 11 trains on 3rd May, eight on 4th May, four on 5th may, two on 6th May and one train on 7th May.

Earlier, Railways had cancelled 169 trains from 1st to 5th May that were supposed to pass in Bhadrak-Vizianagaram section during cyclone time. Apart from this, these 56 more trains have been cancelled due to cancellation of the earlier connecting trains.

On the other hand, a special train to Bangalore will run today (May 4) from Bhubaneswar for convenience of passengers. This special train with Number 08463 will leave Bhubaneswar at 7 pm today and will reach at Bangalore at 1:35 am on 6th May.

This Train has One AC-2 Tier, Four AC-3 Tier, 11 Sleeper Class, Four Second Class Seating and Two Guard/Disabled & Luggage Van Coaches in its composition having stoppages at Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Guntur, Nandayal, Guntakal & Dharmavaram between Bhubaneswar and Bangalore.
