Bhubaneswar: With support pouring in for Odisha after Cyclone FANI devastated the State, 19 more associations and individuals donated Rs 12,20,50,328 to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) on Friday.
Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) donated Rs 10 crore to CMRF in the form of a cheque which was handed over by its Chairman-cum-Managing Director and Industries Secretary Sanjeev Chopra to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at State Secretariat.
Paradeep Phosphates Limited donated Rs 1.15 crore, Odisha Samaj UAE donated Rs 3 lakh, Retired Diploma Engineers Association donated Rs 61 thousand, MD TRL Krosaki Refractories Ltd donated Rs 30 lakh and Jagannath Seva Samiti from Kolkata donated Rs 60 thousand.
Recreation Club of Postal Accounts in Cuttack donated Rs 25 thousand, KC Pradhan donated Rs 1 lakh, Odisha Revenue Service Association donated Rs 3 lakh, Narendra Nath Jena from Meenakshi Mission Hospital & Research Centre in Madurai donated Rs 50 thousand, Bhubaneswar resident Parsuram Mitra donated Rs 1 lakh and Rashmi Metaliks Limited donated Rs 50 lakh.
Handlooms Minister Snehangini Chhuria donated Rs 1 lakh, Rodion Solutions Private Limited donated Rs 1 lakh, AKM Agro Processing donated Rs 2 lakh, All India Weavers Welfare & Charitable Trust from Hinjilicut donated Rs 23,217, Bhubaneswar Truck Owner's Association donated Rs 1,11,111 and Matrudutta Barik donated Rs 10,000.
The Chief Minister has thanked the associations and individuals for extending their support to the people of Odisha.
