Bhubaneswar: The Government of India team to assess the damages inflicted by cyclone Bulbul will arrive in Odisha on Thursday (November 14). The team led by Saheli Ghosh Roy, Joint Secretary (CIC), Ministry of Home Affairs will proceed to Bhadrak and make a field visit of the affected areas.
On Friday, the team will make field visit in Kendrapada district and return to Bhubaneswar in the afternoon. A wrap-up meeting with the Team is scheduled to be held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy at 5.30 pm on Friday.
The members of the Central team are: Vandana Singhal, Chief Engineer, Ministry of Power, Deena Nath, Consultant, Department of Expenditure, SS Modi, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development, Amrish Pal Singh, Superintending Engineer, CWC, Odisha, Dr Virendra Singh, Director, DRD, Dept. of Agriculture, Patna, and Sunil Kumar, Ministry of Road Transport, Regional Office, Bhubaneswar.
