COVID-19 In Odisha: One Person Dies In Khurda, Death Toll Now 6

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported a COVID-19 related death today. According to the Health Department's website, one person has succumbed to COVID-19 in Khurda district. With this, the total number of coronavirus related deaths in Khurda has become 3, while the total number of deaths in Odisha moved to 6.

The Health and Family Welfare Department informed that the patient was a 70-year-old male person who was having a history of comorbidity of hypertension. "He was admitted to AIIMS Emergency on Tuesday with respiratory distress and passed away on the same day. The man was tested positive for COVID-19," the H&FW Department tweeted.

Till Wednesday, 1,052 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Odisha with 739 active cases. Total 307 persons have recovered from the disease so far. The other casualties have been reported in Ganjam - 2 and Cuttack - 1.
