Congress Demands Investigation Into OCA Financial Irregularity

Bhubaneswar: The activists of Indian National Congress on Thursday staged demonstration in front of the Crime Branch’s Economic Offence Wing (EOW) Office here demanding investigation against former Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) president Ashirbad Behera in connection with alleged financial irregularities in OCA.

The activists, led by Cuttack City Congress President Mohammad Moquim demanded thorough investigation into the case and strong action against the accused, including the former OCA president.

Speaking to the reporters, Moquim said, “Even after an audit report exposed financial irregularity worth around Rs 475 crores in OCA, the State Government has not taken any action against the culprits. We have requested the EOW to investigate into the case and take necessary action against those who are involved in the case.”
