Kendrapara: A pall of gloom descended on the family of one Biswajit Majhi (16) as the young boy was killed in a road accident hours before the announcement of the Odisha Matric Exam results.

Reportedly, the class 10 student Biswajit Majhi of Rajarajeshwari village was returning home from Cuttack, when the four-wheeler in which he was traveling hit a truck at Baro Chhak on Cuttack-Chandabali road last night. Biswajit died on the spot.

He was a student of Banabihari Jew High School and was awaiting the crucial Class 10 results. Hours after his death, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) published the results of the 2019 annual matric examinations.

While the driver of the car has gone absconding, cops reached the spot and recovered the body post-mortem.
