Bhubaneswar: Chief Advisor to Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) R Balakrishnan and 5T secretary V K Pandian today briefed five IAS probationers appointed for the development of Puri about their job and responsibilities.
They were advised to do their job with utmost dedication to make the State government’s ambitious developmental programme to turn Puri into a World Heritage City a success, said an office release issued from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
The five 2018 batch IAS probationers namely Suryavanshi Mayur Vikas, Kirtivasan V, Dr Subhankar Mahapatra, J Sonal and Bhubnesh Devdas Patil will be joining in their respective at Puri today.
Worth mentioning, the State government has laid special emphasis to develop Puri into a World Heritage City. For the purpose different projects have been undertaken at a total project cost of Rs 500 crores for development of infrastructure, conservation of ancient monuments and security. In order to speed up these projects Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has appointed these five probationers IAS officers to assist the Collector. These officers will remain in charge of different projects that are being undertaken for Puri’s development.
