Bhubaneswar: Two former Odisha ministers Atanu Sabyasachi and Arun Sahu were summoned by the CBI in connection with the Seashore scam this week.

While Sahu was asked to appear before the investigating agency on Monday, Atanu was notified for an appearance on Wednesday. However, Sahu did not turn up on Monday, said sources.

"In the ongoing probe into the Seashore scam, we will be sending another notice to Sahu. Atanu Sabyasachi has been asked to appear in the CBI office at Bhubaneswar on January 30," an agency official said.

On the other hand, BJD spokesperson said that the persons concerned have not received any notice so far.

"It is through the media we have come to know about this matter. How come the media get a copy of the notice, whereas the individuals in questions have not received the same," said Patra.
