Bhubaneswar: In a gruesome incident, the body of a youth stuffed inside a carton box was found near Rental Colony under Nayapalli Police limits in Bhubaneswar. The deceased has been identified as Dilip Sahu of Kantilo, who was working in a flour mill.

Dilip was allegedly killed in the second floor of a nearby building and his body was then packed into a box and dragged down. Locals spotted the dumped body with grievous injuries and hands and legs tied.

It has been alleged that Dilip was killed by his fellow worker Chintu Jena to take away Rs 10,000 cash which the former had borrowed from the accused.

The incident came to light after the owner of the flour mill, Pramod Subudhi, lodged an FIR at Nayapalli Police Station.

Based on the FIR, cops reached the spot along with a scientific team and began a probe into the matter. Later, police detained Jena and put him to sustained interrogation.
