With seven countries participating, BYOFF will have workshops on filmmaking animation and collaborative filmmaking.

Like every year scores of filmmakers from across the country and the world to celebrate the spirit of cinema. The festival is a platform for aspiring filmmakers, short filmmakers, experimental filmmakers and all other kind.

Films from more than seven countries including Indonesia, Malyasia, Papua, Ecuador, Argentina, Peru and Canada will be screened. The section featuring indigenous cinema is part of the first international film festival of India which began two days ago in Bhubaneswar.

This section will feature films that celebrate and assert indigenous wisdom, culture and activism, and highlight and bring forth the voices of tribal resistance against environmentally destructive practices and social injustices.

The festival continues to gain popularity amongst young students and practitioners of cinema. Many students from media schools and film institutes (BGU, BPFTIO, FTI and SRFTI) are participating in the workshop.
