BJP Gears Up For Puri ‘Janjati Morcha’ National Convention, Amit Shah To Address Valedictory Session

Bhubaneswar: While BJP is ready to hold its two-day- long ‘Janjati Morcha’ national convention at Puri on February 2 and 3, the saffron party’s national president Amit Shah is all set to address the valedictory session.

Convening a press meet here at the State BJP headquarters, BJP ST Morcha national president Ramvichar Netam informed, “BJP’s Janjati Morcha’s national convention will be organized in the city of Lord Jagannath’s Puri.”

He added, “On February 1, evening 5 pm onwards a meeting of the national executives will be held as well as discussions will be held on various issues and the agenda for the inaugural day on February 2 will be finalized.”

He also informed, “The ministers, MLAs and MPs representing the tribal community of their respective States will also be attending the convention. We have requested the Chief Minister of Assam and the Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura to grace the inaugural session. We have also discussed with the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. He will also be present on February 2.”

“The programmes slated for February 2 and 3 will be completed by February 3 afternoon and we will be holding a big public meeting and expecting a gathering of one lakh people. Party national president Amit Shahji will address the public meeting before the convention winds up,” stated the BJP ST Morcha national president.
