Bhubaneswar: When ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has already announced the names of its nine MP and 54 MLA candidates for the Phase-I and Phase-II pollings of the general elections and its party supremo-cum-Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik even filed his nomination for Hinjili today, bête noire BJP is yet to come up with its list of candidates.

Given such a queer development, BJD today came down heavily on BJP mocking at its much-hyped Mission 120+ tom-tommed in Odisha. In his media reactions, BJD spokesperson Sasmit Patra burst, “BJP is heading towards defeat in 2019 elections. That’s why this attitude.”

He remarked, “The people of Odisha are unable to decipher why the BJP’s calculation is not working out and remaining inconclusive till date. Is everything okay with the party (BJP)? Is it waiting for the fence-sitters and defectors?”

“It’s now crystal clear that BJP’s mindset is to be host at the cost of borrowed dishes and cuisines from neighbourhood. This election is leading BJP to an extremely unfortunate outcome,” the BJD spokesperson lampooned.
