Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik thanked the voters for exercising their franchise in the Phase-I polling held on Thursday for four parliamentary constituencies along with 28 assembly constituencies under them in Odisha.

The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo also asserted that his party is going to outperform its 2014 results in the current elections.

"I thank the people who have come in large numbers to vote today. I expect the results to be better than the 2014 elections," said Patnaik.
