BJD's Membership Drive For Bhubaneswar Begins

Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal, Bhubaneswar unit, began its membership drive for three constituencies in the Capital City region started here on Sunday. The party embarked on the programme with great fanfare after it held a Press conference. 

Senior leaders of BJD gave a call to strengthen the party's organizational network in the three constituencies of Bhubaneswar. The party has to carry the messages of CM Naveen Patnaik to every nook and corner of the district, they said.

"On the clarion call of our party president Naveen Patnaik we organised the membership drive for Bhubaneswar, which is the 27th organisational district under the programme. Today, the same programme was also held in Kandhamal. Final round of the extended district executive meeting will be held Kalahandi, Keonjhar and Gajapti," BJD vice-president, Debi Mishra said.

Senior party leader and Rajya Sabha Member Prasanna Acharya said, "We have set a target of 6 lakh members from Bhubaneswar and are sure to achieve the target within the deadline. We are confident because there is a lot of energy among all sections of the society to be a part of the BJD."
