Bhubaneswar: Senior leaders of the Biju Janata Dal today met at the party headquarters and held a discussion on the poll promises for Patkura assembly segment.

The leaders included Patkura MLA Sabitri Agarwal, Pratap Deb, Arun Sahu, Sanjay Dasburma, Atanu Sabyasachi and Prafulla Mallick.

After the meeting, Deb said that the leaders discussed in detail on how to go about for the development of Patkura. "The monsoon season will end soon, following which the development projects will be on in full pace."

Agarwal said that it was an internal meeting of the party in which the leaders discussed the ways and means to implement Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik's plans effectively. "We will again have a discussion with the CM on this matter," she said.

Dasburma said that BJD’s promises will be fulfilled and all development projects carried out in Panchayat and Block levels. "We shall meet all expectations of the people of Patkura in a timely manner."
