Ganjam: In the ongoing probe into Councillor Laxmidutt Pradhan murder case, the Chhatrapur police on Sunday arrested an accused Subrat Pattnayak alias Lucky.

Subrat is a native of Pendripada village under Polasara police limits. He has been booked under multiple Sections of the IPC and forwarded to the court.

Pradhan was hacked to death by more than a dozen miscreants in broad daylight on September 16, 2017. So far, 19 persons have been arrested in this connection.

According to the police, several other accused in this sensational murder case are on the run. A manhunt is on to nab the rest of them.
