Bhubaneswar’s ‘Crorepati’ School teacher In Vigilance Net

Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths simultaneously raided two houses of a school teacher in Bhubaneswar’s Unit-6 City School for amassing assets disproportionate to her income. She is identified as Tilotama Mohanty, an assistant school teacher there. 

The vigilance cops unearthed property amounting to Rs 3.5 crore. They have seized a Maruti Celerio car, a KTM bike, two more bikes, 18 LIC bonds worth Rs 25 lakhs. She allegedly has 9 plots in Chandaka, Arugul, Sundarpada, Balianta, Uttara, Pipili.

The sleuths seized her 9-10 bank accounts. There was a fixed deposit of Rs 32 lakhs in HDFC bank. 

The raid was still on when this report was filed.
