Bhubaneswar Airport's Link Building Roof Collapse: AAI Completes Preliminary Probe

Bhubaneswar: The preliminary probe of Airport Authority of India into the link building's collapse at the under-construction site of Biju Patnaik International Airport was completed today. BPIA Director, VV Rao said, A team comprising an executive engineer and a General Manager-ranked officer completed their probe on Sunday.

"Once this team submits its report to our Regional authority, the AAI will send another technical team for the detailed investigation into the incident," Rao added. In the mishap which took place on the intervening night of January 24 and 25, a 55-year-old labourer, Antaryami Guru belonging to Athagarh in Cuttack district lost his life in the mishap.
