Before His Concert In Odisha’s Jeypore, Singer Sonu Nigam Was Admitted In ICU. Know Why

07 February 2019

Bhubaneswar: Giving his fans the valuable lesson of ‘Life is Beautiful’, popular Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam shared an Instagram post revealing that he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai earlier this week, just few days before a concert in Odisha.

“Thanks for your concern and love. Now that you know that I am returning back from Jeypore Orissa after managing a concert last night, I now don't mind sharing how I was the day before yesterday. Lesson for all of us, Never ever ever ever take a chance with allergies. Sea food in my case. If Nanavati Hospital wasn't near by, my trachea would have swollen up further and lead to asphyxiation. Happy and Healthy life to everyone. #health #lifeisbeautiful #goodfortune,” the 45-year-old singer wrote on February 6 (Wednesday).

Along with the post, the singer shared some photos of him in a breathing mask and with swollen eyes. Fortunately, he recovered well in time for his performance in Jeypore on February 5 and thanked his fans for the well wishes.
