Bears Pounce On Bathers, 3 Critical In Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar: In an appalling incident, three persons were seriously injured in a bear attack while the injured persons were on their way to the river to bathe today morning hours.

As per reports, four bears swooped down on the three victims.

The victims have been identified as a couple named Pratap Pradhan and his wife Gurubari while the third victim has been identified as Pathani Nayak.

Nayak has been shifted to Keonjhar Disitrict Headquarters Hospital (DHH).

The incident has taken place under Telkoi forest range while the injured were on their way to bathe in Samakoi river near Madhusudanpur.
