Armed Robbers Create Panic In Bhubaneswar, Hotel Owner Targeted, 4th Loot Case In 24 Hours

Bhubaneswar: Fourth loot case within 24 hours was reported from capital city as armed robbers attacked a hotel owner in Rasulgarh area on Tuesday night and looted his gold chain along with over Rs 3 lakh cash.

As per reports, Bulu Samantra was on his way back home last night when miscreants intercepted his way, attacked him with a sharp weapon and fled with his belongings. Bulu sustained grievous injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.

It is notable to mention here that on Tuesday morning, bike-borne miscreants had robbed gold chain from an old man. Later, a family of four was also targeted and their ornaments were looted. Following that, a car showroom owner and a customer were attacked with deadly weapons on Puri by-pass road and cash was snatched away from them.

With four loot cases within 24 hours, a big challenge stands ahead of Commissionerate Police to make Bhubaneswar safe again.
