Angry Locals Torch Oil Tanker After One Dies In Accident

Dhenkanal: Trouble erupted in Bhuban area of Dhenkanal district after locals torched an oil tanker that had caused an accident leading to the death of a youth on Wednesday evening.

The deceased was identified as Debaranjan Mohapatra of Palasapithia village.

According to reports, the oil tanker had hit a bike at Goda Chhak.

Mohapatra was critically injured in the accident and rushed to Bhuban hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Angry over death of the youth, the locals staged a road blockade on NH-53 and torched the tanker.
