Cuttack: The Orissa High Court Bar Association has agreed to meet DGP RP Sharma to have a discussion on their ongoing cease-work agitation, informed the association's President Srikant Nayak.

A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of the association held here today. However, the Bar Association has put forward some conditions for the proposed meeting.

The discussion will be held as per the time suggested by the Bar and not in Conference Hall of the State Police Headquarters but in an alternative place.

Further as the HC today deferred the hearing on the alleged assault of a lawyer by police and subsequent face-off between the two pillars of justice to November 12, the Bar has decided to continue its cease-work agitation till then.
