Abandoned Newborn Girl Rescued In Odisha's Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: A newborn girl was rescued from a dilapidated house at Joranda area under Gandia police limits here on Wednesday.

As per reports, locals spotted the baby at around 5 am today and Anganwadi workers of Birikhunti rescued her from the spot.

Later, Child Line officials reached the spot and admitted the baby to District Headquarter Hospital (DHH) for medical examination. The condition of the baby is stated to be stable now.

Meanwhile, cops have initiated further probe into the matter.
