Bhubaneswar: Addressing a social justice campaign meeting here at the capital city of Odisha, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed that his is not a party, but its government in Delhi has given a full facelift there.

In his speech, Kejriwal said, “Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is not a party. Four years before, the people of Delhi decided that they would change politics. The people of Delhi kicked out Congress and BJP. Congress bagged zero seat and BJP got 3 seats while 67 out of 70 seats were given by the people of Delhi to the new Aam Aadmi Party.”

He claimed, “Thereafter, Delhi’s face fully changed. When our government was formed, the government schools of Delhi were worse. Today the result of the government schools of Delhi is 10 per cent far better than that of the private schools there.”

“We don’t produce electricity in Delhi, but it is supplied at the rate of Re 1 per unit. During our previous government in Delhi by Congress led by Sheila Dixit, the power tariff was rising every year,” he stated.

The Delhi Chief Minister also claimed, “We provide every household with water supply. Scores of pro-poor schemes have been implemented. Also we have implemented schemes for the Dalits. If any child of a Dalit family wishes to go in for engineering and medical after Class XII and seeks to have expensive private coaching, Delhi Government bears the exorbitant fees and the Dalit candidate receives free coaching.”

OMMCOM NEWS tried for the counter reactions from Congress, BJP and BJD, but were not available despite concerted efforts till the filing of this report.
