Bhubaneswar: Celebrating the festival of colours with specially-abled persons on the premises of Bhima Bhoi Drustihina Vidyalaya in Bhubaneswar on Friday promised a day of fun for one and all.

Even after losing their eyesight, the visually-impaired persons proved that they can feel the colours and enjoy the festival with equal zeal and fervour as in the case of their sighted counterparts.

Talking to OMMCOM NEWS, Amtabh Jena, a specially-abled person, said the Holi festival dates back to the Dwapara Yuga when Lord Krishna introduced it by putting colours on Radha. It spreads a message of love, brotherhood and prosperity.

"Today we experience as equal with our sighted counterparts and thank all who have come to celebrate the festival with us," he added.
