Bhubaneswar: The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for higher educational institutions includes four educational institutions of Odisha in the top 100 for the year 2019. The rankings were released by President Ramnath Kovind at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on Monday afternoon.
In the countrywide government ranking, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela is at 38th position with a score of 50.75 in the overall category. Bhubaneswar's Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University (50.31) has secured 41st spot, Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (48.73) is at 46th rank and KIIT University (47.97) is at 50th spot.
IIT Madras has topped the overall and engineering categories, IISc Bangalore is the top institute in Universities category, Delhi University’s Miranda House is the best college, IIM Bangalore has topped in Management category and Jamia Hamdard is best for pharmacy.
In Law, National Law School of India University in Bangalore has topped the list, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is the best for Architecture and All India Institute of Medical Sciences is best for Medical.
