Bhubaneswar: The 30th Odisha State Film Awards have been announced by the Department of Culture of the Government of Odisha. Mihir Das has been conferred the best actor award for Bheeja Matira Swarga and Archita Sahu has bagged the best actress award for Champion.
Manmohan Mohapatra has been adjudged as the best director for bheeja Matira Swarga. The prestigious Jayadev award for his lifetime contribution to the growth and development of Odia cinema has been conferred to Bijay Mishra.
Film producer Akshay Parija will get Mohan Sundar Dev Goswami Samman (in the Best Film category) for Bheeja Maati ra Swarga.

Best Editing: Amarendra Mohapatra (Film: Feri Aa, Come Back)
Best Lyrics: Basant Raj Samal for Shraban Acchii…. Barsa Nahin (Saathi, Tu Feri aa)
Best Screenplay: Ashutosh Mahapatra (Film: Bheeja Matira Swarga)
Best Supporting Actor: Manoj Mishra (Champion)
Best Supporting Actress: Sibani Khara (Feri Aa, Come Back)
best Comedian: Rakhi (Deewana Heli To Pain)
Best Child Artist: Sarthak Hota (Feri Aa, Come Back)
Best Art Director: Sangram Maharana (Feri Aa, Come Back)
Best Sound recordist: Nityashree Ranjan (Jeebana ra chala pathe)
Special Jury Award: Kadambini Media (for documentary ‘Kahe Ballabha’), Soumyakanta Khandayee for Acting in Jibana ra chala pathe
Best documentary films: Kalyani Mishra and Ranjit Rath, Nila Mahapatra, Sweta Kumar Das
Best Film In Tribal Language Of Odisha: Ho Samaj Film Academy (Amage Juli)
Best Dialogue Writer; Nanadalal Mahapatra (Bheeja Matira Swarga)
Best Costume Man: Prasanna Sathpathy (Feri Aa, Come Back)
Best Make-up Man: Samaresh Pal for Deewana Heli To Pain
Best Choreography: Munna Babu (Feri Aa, Come Back)
The Odisha State Film Awards were initiated in 1968. The awards are decided by independent juries formed by the Department of Culture. The jury usually consists of eminent personalities from the film fraternity, academician, journalist and public servants.
