3 Injured After Bakery Factory Wall Collapse In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: As many as three workers sustained injuries when an under-construction wall collapsed in Paikanagar area of the capital city today afternoon.

Reportedly, the incident occurred at a bakery factory that left the workers, who were present at the spot, injured in the debris.

The factory workers have been identified as Sushant Jena (38), Tambala Swain (55) and Bauri Swain (60). According to reports, the wall collapsed due to construction of an underground drain in the spot.

On intimation, Bhubaneswar Fire Services personnel rushed to the spot and rescued the three persons alive.

The injured persons were then admitted to Capital Hospital for treatment. Mayor Anant Jena visited the hospital and announced free of cost treatment for the three factory workers.
