16,000 Students From Odisha To Write CBSE Class 12 Exam From Today

Bhubaneswar: Around 16,000 students across Odisha will sit for the Class 12 exams of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that will commence from Saturday.

Reportedly, 12,87,000 students across the country have registered for the examination this year which will continue till April 4.

As per the guidelines released by CBSE, entry in the exam center will be from 9 AM to 10 AM only. While the Answer books would be distributed to candidates between 10 to 10.15 AM, the Question paper will be distributed at 10.15 AM. Candidates can start writing the examination at 10.30 AM.

Candidates are advised to carry only permissible items at the examination center as given in Admit Card. They are required to avoid carrying cellphones, wallets, purses, chits or pieces of paper, old question papers, or anything that draws suspicion about the possibility of unfair means being adopted.

While it is compulsory for regular candidates to come for examination in school uniform only, private candidates have been advised to wear light clothes only. Candidates found indulging in any unfair practice will be booked under unfair means (UFM) category and action will be taken as per rules of the board.

The CBSE has asked not to spread rumors by posting fake messages/videos on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and other Social Media Platforms.
