Nayagarh: As many as 10 labourers from Odisha have allegedly been stranded in Dubai and have released a video seeking help. Narrating their ordeal, the labourers allege that they are being tortured and are being forced to work overtime without being paid any dues.

Among them are Pratap and Guman Maharana of Godipada area in Nayagarh district. The two relatives had been lured by a contractor from Chilika's Balugaon area, who had promised them Rs 35000 for work in Dubai.

However, even after 11 months of work, they have not received their wages and do not have enough money to return home. Thus, the labourers and their families have sought help from Government to be rescued and looked after.
