10 Maoists Killed In Chhattisgarh-Odisha Border

Bijapur (Chhattisgarh): Ten Maoists were killed on Thursday in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur in a gun battle with the security forces, police said.

Bijapur Superintendent of Police Mohit Garg told IANS that the encounter in Madh area is still underway.

The police also recovered a large cache of arms.

According to reports, the encounter took place at the bank of the Indravati river in Abhujhmaad, about 25 kilometres from Bhairamgarh town.

Meanwhile, a Maoist camp was busted in Kataphara forest under Boden police limits in Nuapada during combing operation by SOG Jawans. 5 tiffin bombs and other explosives, arms and ammunition were seized from the camp.
