'Rent A Bike' Scheme Launched In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The 'Rent A Bike' scheme, meant for public commuting, was launched at the Chandrasekharpur test track here on Wednesday.

This is the second license in Odisha which has been granted to Drop You Bike Rentals, who will start the scheme with 18 motorcycles in Bhubaneswar.

The users can avail the facility for travelling in the city and adjoining areas. The additional security features will be updated phase wise, Transport Commissioner, Sanjeeb Panda said.

Regional Transport Officer (Zone II), Sanjay Behera said that all the bikes will be GPS-fitted and also have other safety features like speed governors.
