Bhubaneswar: The much-awaited +2 Science results were declared on Monday and a total of 70,706 students have passed out of the 97,705 that had appeared the exams. Balasore district has registered the highest pass rate of 86.56 % while  the lowest has been recorded by Gajapati with 36.20 %.

Nine colleges have registered zero results whereas 100 per cent results has been recorded in 29 colleges. A total of 60 students have secured above 90 per cent in the annual exam this year as against 41 students of previous year, informed School and Mass Education Minister Samir Das.

He also said that strict action will be taken against the authorities of the nine colleges where nil results have been recorded.
