Bhubaneswar: In the wake of a video of Indian Air Force (IAF) Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman being held in custody of Pakistani army doing rounds on social media, few photos reportedly of his survival kit has surfaced.
The photos posted on a Facebook page, Indian Military Updates - IMU, claims Pakistan has released the images, claiming it to be of the survival kit confiscated from Abhinandan.
Approximately an hour prior to sharing the images, a video of Abhinandan had also been posted on the said page stating, "Fighter pilot Abhinandan sir is safe .... and will be back soon. Thats the spirit of Armed force... If any Pakistani Pilot would have found alive Indians would have done the same.. There is a Charter of honour which every Army follows under Geneva Convention"
It had also been mentioned earlier in the Facebook page that according to Geneva Convention, Pakistan have to return Wing Commander in 7 days or else both countries will be officially in War. It also stated that by beating the IAF pilot, Pakistan has already violated the Geneva Convention.
