Moving Car Catches Fire In Odisha's Capital City

Bhubaneswar: A moving car on Monday caught fire near V2 Mart in Nayapalli area here at around 12:30 pm. However, no casualty was reported as the occupants succeeded in coming out of the car on time.

According to local sources, the engine of a Tata Indigo eCS bearing registration no- OR-02-BV-8080 caught fire while the car was heading from ISKCON temple area to Vani Vihar area.

Initially, the locals and the vehicle owner tried to douse the flame by sprinkling sand from the road and later the Fire tenders rushed there and brought raging blaze under control. No casualty has been reported from the spot.
